VSEC Head leads academic excellence programme: Question Paper discussion

Dr. Siju K. C (Head, VSEC and Asso. Prof, AS Dept) conducted a Question Paper Discussion Session on 30 August  2025, for the scholarship students of the Kovilagath Foundation.

The session focused on the Continuous Evaluation Examination in Mathematics, designed as part of the Academic Excellence Programme. The question paper carried a total of 15 marks and comprised 15 simple yet practical problems to be solved within 30 minutes. The session was conducted online via Google Meet at 7:00 p.m.The questions were carefully crafted to assess core mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, averages, geometry, and logical reasoning. The paper’s design emphasized the application of mathematics to real-life situations, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving abilities among students.

During the session, Dr. Siju guided the participants through the problem-solving process, explaining not only the correct answers but also the reasoning behind each solution. The interactive and engaging discussion helped students connect theoretical knowledge with practical contexts, making the learning experience more meaningful.

The session received positive feedback, reinforcing the Kovilagath Foundation’s commitment to nurturing academic excellence through continuous learning, guided mentorship, and constructive practice.
