CE faculty member attends ATAL FDP on ‘Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing’

Vidya’s faculty members continually engage in professional development initiatives to stay updated with the latest advancements in science and technology.

Ms Nirmala Krishnan  (Asst Prof, CE Dept) successfully participated in the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Geographic Information System and Remote Sensing” organized by Maharaja’s Technological Institute from 15–20 September 2025.

The FDP offered comprehensive insights into the applications of GIS and Remote Sensing technologies in engineering and environmental studies. Sessions focused on recent innovations, research trends, and practical implementations of spatial data analysis and mapping techniques for infrastructure and resource management.
