| It was with great pride that the Editorial Team of News & Events highlighted the outstanding performance of Vidya in YIP 7.0, an initiative by the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC). Vidya has been recognized as a top performer in the programme, being ranked first in Thrissur district and second across Kerala based on the number of projects that received funding. A total of 31 ideators from the institution were selected as District Level Winners, collectively securing Rs 2,25,000/- in funding to develop their innovative projects |

With immense pride, Dr. Sunitha C (Principal) accepted the Best Institution Award on behalf of Vidya, and Mr. Anil Melepurath (YIP Nodal Officer, Asst Prof, ECE Dept) was celebrated with the Best Facilitator Award. The awards were received during the State Innovators Meet 2025, held at Central Polytechnic College, Thiruvananthapuram on 01 November 2025. The event was inaugurated by Dr. R. Bindu (Hon. Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice, Government of Kerala) marking a prestigious platform to celebrate innovation . |
