Prize Distribution and Felicitation of Book Review Contest Winners by Vidya Central Library and IEI
| To encourage and showcase the literary talents of students, Vidya Central Library, in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers (India) [IE(I)], organized a literary book review contest titled “Read & Rekindle” on 25 July 2025. |
| Participants were invited to submit reviews of books, short stories, or poems that inspired them, captivated their interest, or left a lasting impression.The participants presented their reviews with confidence and passion, making the event a truly enriching experience. The winners, Aysha Shafeek M. M (First Prize – S3, CSE Dept.) and Daya T S (Second Prize – S7, CE Dept) were felicitated with cash prizes and certificates in a ceremony held on 25 October 2025. |
| Dr. Sunitha C. (Principal) presented the prizes to the winners, commending their thoughtful interpretations and eloquent delivery. Mr. Girish Kumar P. C. (Librarian) addressed the gathering, appreciating the students’ enthusiasm and expressions, while emphasizing the importance of conducting such literary competitions |
| Ms. Surabhi M. S. (Asst. Librarian), serving on the panel of judges alongside Ms. Nirmala Krishnan (Asst Prof,Sr. Grade CE Dept) introduced the winners and commended all participants for their clarity of thought and insightful understanding of each book and its significance. |
| The event also acknowledged the dedicated coordination by Mr. Aneesh M A (Library Attendant) and Mr. K Vijayanarayanan (Library Attendant) whose combined efforts ensured the book review contest was conducted efficiently and successfully. |
