Orientation session and felicitation of Plus One Toppers conducted by EEE Dept at ICA English HSS

In a meaningful academic outreach initiative, the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) of Vidya  conducted an orientation session and a felicitation ceremony for the toppers of Plus One results at ICA English Higher Secondary School,Vadakkekkaad on 30 October 2025.

The session was led by Dr. Mary P. Varghese (HoD, EEE Dept) and Ms. Anooja V. S (Asst. Professor – Sr. Grade, EEE Dept), who addressed the students on the importance of strong foundational learning, emerging opportunities in engineering, and the significance of career planning at the higher secondary level.

Dr. Mary delivered an insightful orientation highlighting the vast scope of electrical engineering, the growing demand for renewable energy experts, and the essential skills required to excel in the engineering domain. She encouraged students to embrace curiosity, critical thinking, and continuous learning.

Ms. Anooja interacted with the students, offering guidance on developing academic discipline, effective study practices, and preparing for competitive and higher education pathways. She also emphasized the relevance of technology-driven careers in the modern world.

As part of the event,  Plus One toppers of ICA English Higher Secondary School were appreciated and honored for their outstanding academic performance, motivating all students to aim for excellence.
