MCA HoD inaugurates the Association of PG Department of Computer Science at Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu

Vidya faculty members take immense efforts to bring together faculty members and students to engage with emerging technological trends and industry-relevant knowledge.

The PG Department of Computer Science, Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, formally inaugurated its departmental association, TechFusion, on 9 December 2025  in the College Auditorium. The inauguration marked the beginning of the association’s activities for the academic year 2025–26.

The association was inaugurated by Dr. Reji C Joy (HoD, MCA). In her inaugural address, Dr. Reji C. Joy highlighted the importance of professional competence, innovation, and continuous learning in the field of computer science.

As part of the programme, Dr. Reji C. Joy delivered an insightful session titled “Code Beyond 2030: The New Era of Intelligent Development”. The session focused on emerging trends in intelligent software development, the growing influence of artificial intelligence and the future direction of computing beyond 2030. She emphasized the need for adaptability, creativity, and continuous skill enhancement to remain relevant in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members and postgraduate students. The interaction provided valuable insights into future career prospects, technological advancements, and the evolving demands of the IT industry.

The event successfully marked the official commencement of TechFusion activities, reaffirming the department’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and holistic student development. The programme concluded on a positive and inspiring note, setting a strong foundation for the association’s initiatives in the academic year ahead.
