Industry Interaction and Expert Talk by AIML Dept

With the aim  to expose AI&ML students to real-world industry practices, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) Association organized an Industry Interaction Session for the students of  S4 AI&ML on 17 December 2025. The primary objective of the session was to guide and prepare students for careers in the industry, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully crack interviews and secure suitable job opportunities.

The session began with an introductory address by Ms. Riya P. D. (Association In-charge, Asst Prof, AIML Dept) who highlighted the importance of industry interactions in shaping students’ professional careers and bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.

The session was conducted by Mr. Sinoj Chittilappilly George (Senior Software Engineer at Kaleris, German) a highly experienced .NET & REACT Full-Stack developer with expertise spanning multiple domains and entrepreneurship. He is proficient in team management, technical design, and system implementation, with strong communication and leadership abilities.

During the session, Mr. Sinoj shared his valuable industry experiences and provided practical guidance on interview preparation, strategies to get hired by top companies, selecting the right internships, and the essential technical and professional skills required to succeed in the software industry. The session was highly engaging, with students actively participating in the Q&A segment, gaining clarity on current industry expectations, career pathways, and the skill sets needed to excel in the competitive job market.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Jeeva K A (HoD, AIML Dept) who expressed gratitude to the guest speaker for sharing his expertise. As a token of appreciation, Dr. Jeeva presented a gift to Mr. Sinoj Chittilappilly George on behalf of the AI&ML Association and the Department.

The session was highly successful, and students expressed their sincere appreciation to the department and the guest speaker for organizing such an informative and interactive event.
