The award celebrated his wide popularity and public support, largely due to his journey as a contestant on Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7.Mr. Aneesh T. A.secured the position of first runner-up in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7, thereby making history as the first male commoner contestant. |
| Chief Guest at the ceremony, Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan (Chief Minister of Kerala), presented the award to Mr Aneesh on 01 January 2026 in the presence of Dr. Shashi Tharoor (MP for Thiruvananthapuram), Mr K. R. Rajan (Minister for Revenue and Housing) and Ms Mamta Mohandas (Indian actress, producer and playback singer). |
| Mr. Aneesh also published a book, En Neram Thuzhanju, which was launched by V. G. Thampi, a celebrated writer, poet and critic, on 21 September 2024 at Sahitya Akademi Hall, Thrissur. |
