AIML faculty member participates FDP on “Bridging Theory and Practice in Foundations of Computing”

Vidya faculty members actively participate in professional development initiatives to improve teaching effectiveness and remain current with emerging technologies.

Ms. Bianka Thomas (Asst Prof, AIML Dept) actively participated in the 6-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Bridging Theory and Practice in Foundations of Computing”, organized by the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering, Chengannur, held from 1st to 6th December, 2025.

The programme was aimed at enhancing faculty knowledge and teaching skills in the foundations of computing. It emphasized bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications, providing participants with valuable insights into contemporary teaching methodologies, hands-on exercises, and innovative approaches to computing education.

Throughout the FDP, participants engaged in interactive sessions, practical demonstrations, and collaborative discussions, fostering professional development and enabling them to apply learned concepts effectively in their own teaching environments.
