Civil faculty member successfully completes ATAL FDP on Disaster Management and Resilient Infrastructure

The Department of Civil Engineering is delighted to share  that Ms. Nisha Varghese (Asst Prof,  CE  Dept) successfully participated in and completed the AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Disaster Management and Resilient Infrastructure’, organized by IES College of Engineering, Chittilappilly during 15 December 2025 to 20 December 2025.

The sessions emphasized key concepts such as generative design, climate-responsive urban layouts and green infrastructure, highlighting how data-driven and nature-based solutions can significantly reduce the vulnerability of built environments to climate-induced hazards, including floods, cyclones, droughts, and heat waves.
