NSS volunteers spearhead Cleaning and Beautification Drive at Velur Health Center

Driven by a strong commitment to community service and environmental responsibility, the NSS units of Vidya actively promote hygiene in public healthcare facilities. In line with this mission, the volunteers successfully conducted a cleaning and beautification drive at the Velur Health Center.

Aiming to promote hygiene and improve the cleanliness of the public healthcare facility, a group of enthusiastic NSS volunteers actively cleaned open areas, removed weeds and waste, and organized the hospital surroundings. They ensured proper waste disposal, arranged unused equipment neatly, leveled uneven ground surfaces, and enhanced the overall appearance of the premises, creating a more welcoming environment for patients and staff.

The program successfully encouraged environmental consciousness and supported the health center authorities in maintaining a hygienic space, while helping volunteers develop teamwork, social responsibility, and an understanding of the importance of cleanliness in public health settings.
