| INNOFEST provided an exceptional platform for the talented minds of Vidya to come together and showcase their creativity and technical expertise under one roof on 24 M. Organized by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) in collaboration with ISTE, the Institution of Engineers – IE(I), and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), the event encouraged young innovators to present their projects, reflect their learning journey and demonstrate their potential. |
| The expo showcased over 300 projects in both mini and main categories, covering a broad spectrum of core and emerging engineering disciplines. It highlighted the remarkable creativity and technical expertise of the students.Several projects stood out for their real-world applicability, with some receiving encouragement for incubation and transformation into start-up initiatives. The exhibits featured interactive displays, including prototypes and live demonstrations, creating an immersive learning experience. Projects were assessed by a panel of experts on parameters such as innovation, creativity, technical proficiency, and practical relevance. |

The valedictory function was attended by Mr G.S. Prakash (Joint Director, MSME-Development and Facilitation Office (MSME-DFO), Thrissur). Mr Prakash delivered valuable advice to the participants. He spoke about the entrepreneurial journey, highlighting its challenges and the importance of identifying root causes while solving problems. His insights provided guidance and motivation for aspiring entrepreneurs.
