CSE faculty member and students publish research paper in the National Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Computing(NCAICC) 2026

A team of students and faculty member from the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department have published a research paper in the prestigious fourth National Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Computing(NCAICC) 2026 conducted at Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT) during 14-15 January 2026.
The research was conducted by students Aarcha Sidharthan (S8,CSE Dept),Adithya V (S8,CSE Dept),Arjun S (S8,CSE Dept) and Darwin T D (S8,CSE Dept) as part of their B.Tech project, under the guidance of Ms. Remya K R (Asst Prof, CSE Dept).The team presented this research paper at a national-level conference , where it received appreciation for its practical approach and innovation in solving real-world academic scheduling challenges
The proposed system utilizes algorithmic techniques to generate optimized timetables while strictly adhering to university guidelines. It aims to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and enhance flexibility in timetable management.The research highlights how such automated systems can significantly improve administrative efficiency and ensure compliance with KTU academic structures.
