ME faculty member secures certification with Topper Elite in NPTEL Engineering Thermodynamics

Vidya faculty members continue to enhance their knowledge and expertise in the core concepts of Engineering Thermodynamics through the successful completion of the NPTEL certification course.

The Dept of Mechanical Engineering takes great pride in announcing that Mr. Ranjith E R (Asst. Prof, ME Dept) has successfully completed the NPTEL online certification course titled “Engineering Thermodynamics” conducted during the January–March 2026 session with Topper Elite certification.

The 8-week course, offered under the NPTEL initiative funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, focused on the fundamental principles of thermodynamics, energy systems, heat interactions, and engineering applications relevant to mechanical and thermal sciences. He secured an Elite certification with a consolidated score of 76%, reflecting his commitment to strengthening subject expertise and advancing technical knowledge in core Mechanical Engineering disciplines. This accomplishment highlights the faculty member’s dedication to continuous professional development and academic excellence in engineering education.
