ME faculty member excels in NPTEL Course with Elite Certification and Top 5% Status

It is a matter of great pride for the Department of Mechanical Engineering that Mr. Renjith Raj (Asst. Prof., ME Dept) has successfully completed the NPTEL certification course “Business Fundamentals for Entrepreneurs” during the January–April 2026 session.
The 12-week course, offered under the NPTEL initiative funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, focused on entrepreneurial fundamentals, business planning, innovation, and management principles essential for aspiring entrepreneurs. He secured an Elite certification with an outstanding consolidated score of 96% and achieved a Top 5% performer status, reflecting exceptional academic performance and commitment to interdisciplinary learning. This accomplishment highlights the faculty member’s dedication to enhancing professional competencies beyond core engineering domains and promoting innovation-driven education.
