EEE faculty member participates in national CEEE programme at IIT Madras

Centre for Engineering Education Excellence (CEEE) is a flagship national mentorship initiative launched by the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE). The programme, supported by Infosys Foundation through its CSR initiative and backed by AICTE and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), was conducted at IIT Madras from 03 June to 20 June 2026.

 Dr. Neenu Thomas (Asst Prof – Seln Grade,EEE Dept) successfully participated in the Centre for Engineering Education Excellence (CEEE) Programme, a prestigious national initiative of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE).

CEEE Programme is designed to empower faculty members from engineering institutions across the country by enhancing the quality of engineering education through structured mentoring, capacity building, and the adoption of academic best practices. The programme brings together experienced mentors and distinguished experts from IITs and other leading institutions, who provide valuable guidance to participating faculty members in strengthening teaching methodologies, research capabilities, curriculum development, and institutional excellence.

Ms. Neenu Thomas’s participation in this prestigious national programme reflects the Department of EEE’s commitment to continuous professional development and academic excellence. The knowledge and insights gained through the programme will contribute significantly to enriching teaching practices, promoting innovation, and strengthening the quality of engineering education at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology.
