EEE Faculty Members Participate in International Faculty Development Programme on Intelligent Technologies

Ms. Akhila R., Assistant Professor – Senior Grade, and Ms. Sheeja G., Assistant Professor, of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Vidya Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), Thrissur, successfully participated in the Virtual Six-Day International Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Intelligent Technologies for Smart Healthcare and Sustainable Energy Systems”, organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering & Department of Biomedical Engineering, Nandha Engineering College (Autonomous), Erode, Tamil Nadu, from 23rd to 29th June 2026.

The international FDP brought together academicians, researchers, and industry experts to explore recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Smart Healthcare Technologies, Embedded Systems, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, and Sustainable Energy Systems. The programme focused on the integration of intelligent technologies to address emerging challenges in healthcare and energy sectors while promoting interdisciplinary research and innovation.

Through expert sessions, interactive discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities, the programme provided participants with valuable exposure to emerging research trends, innovative applications, and best practices in AI-driven healthcare and sustainable energy solutions. The FDP also offered opportunities for professional networking and collaboration with experts from academia and industry.
