The Training & Placement Department of the College organised a talk on GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) for the B Tech (2019 pass out batch) students on 15.01.2018. Mr. Mathew Kurian, former Assistant Professor at Karunya University, Coimbatore, and a trainer at Manifold Institute of Technical Education, Thrissur, was the resource person for the talk. He talked about the whole gamut of GATE and explained how to approach and prepare for this important examination. The resource person also talked about the placement opportunities through GATE. As of date, close to 47 public sector companies are recruiting engineers on the basis of GATE scores. He advised the students to have a clear goal and to work regularly to ensure a good score in GATE.
