The Science Awareness Programme (SAP) of the College, a brain-child of Er P K Asokan, Chief Patron of VICT, launched with much expectations has got a shot in the arm in the form of financial support from Govt. of Kerala. The Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) has sanctioned a grant of Rs 2,80,000/- for implementation of the various projects under the Science Awareness Programme under the Science Popularization Scheme of KSCSTE. Dr. Latha Raj, Director (SWS), VICT, and SAP Advisor, presented the details of the proposal before the Science Popularization Committee of KSCSTE on 19th April, 2018 at Sasthra Bhavan, Trivandrum. Mr. Anil Paul (AP, ME Dept) accompanied her in the discussion.
