The stage is set for an exciting The India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC) Finale, launched by Texas Instruments India in association with the Department of Science and Technology and anchored by Indian Institute of Management Bangalore with more than 15380 students from 965 engineering colleges entering the contest across all the states in India. News & Events Team have immense pleasure and pride to report that the team from Vidya has been selected to attend the IICDC 2017 – FINALS to be held at IIMB@NSRCEL on 10 August 2018.
The objective of the contest is to identify ten successful startups from the contest which will be incubated at the NSRCEL of IIM Bangalore and supported by Department of Science and Technology with funding of 20 lakhs each for the startups.
There were 30 teams in the first round of finals; among those teams, 20 were selected based on the quality of official videos uploaded on YouTube on 31 July 2018.
The video created by the five stars is embedded below. This video was evaluated by experts from Texas Instruments for its technical aspects and experts from IIM Bangalore for the business aspects (patent was on of the criterion of evaluation) and based on their evaluation, 20 teams out of 30 have been selected for the final. From the final round, 10 teams will be declared as winners.
