Vidya’s NSS units’ services expand to Malappuram District
The NSS units of Vidya, Kidney Federation of India and E Moidu Moulavi Memorial Charitable Society jointly organised a three-day camp christened “Karunyavum Karuthalum” at Perumbadappu Grama Panchayat in Malappuram District during 10 – 12 August 2018.
The camp was inaugurated by the Convener of Karunyavum Karuthalum Mr Shaji Kaliyathayil (Chairman, Moidhu Moulavi Memorial Charitable Trust). As many as 96 NSS volunteers actively participated in the programme.The NSS volunteers conducted a health survey of the residents of Veliyankode Grama Panchayat areas. The focus of the survey was to identify persons who are suffering from cancer, heart and kidney related ailments and to provide them moral as well as financial support for medical treatments.
Mr Abdul Gafur (General Secretary, Moidu Moulavi Memorial Charitable Society) appreciated the Programme Officers Mr Anil Melepurath and Ms Mahalakshmy A and the NSS volunteers for their service towards the society through the camp.
