Kerala Govt’s IT Hub in Vidya

Kerala Government has launched its IT hub at Vidya as part of its initiative to develop the skills of budding engineers. In the first stage, the Kerala government has initiated the IT hub at 20 colleges. As a result of this, the students of these colleges will be able to communicate live with each other. They will also be able to conduct live skill development sessions. Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the event at Thiruvananthapuram through a video conference. Tourism Minister Shri Kadakampally Surendran, IT Secretary M Sivasankar, IAS, and Dr Saji Gopinath attended the function. The programme is being organised by Kerala IT Mission.
