They bring cheers to specially abled children in Xmas season

Christmas is all about showing kindness, affection and spreading happiness. The IEDC of Vidya, along with the NSS units of Vidya, organised Christmas celebration for specially abled children on 21 December 2021 in the College Auditorium.

Specially abled children are like butterflies with a broken wing. They are just as beautiful as all others, but they need help to spread their wings. The celebrations provided a great opportunity for these children to showcase their talents and to boost their creativity and confidence. There were various events like games and music. Many children participated in the events with much happiness and enthusiasm. All the events took place under the guidance of Mr Anil Melepurath (Nodal Officer IEDC and AP, ECE Dept).

Autism Center, Aranattukara coordinated the program. Students from many schools with specially abled children joined the program.The program concluded by presenting Christmas gifts to the participants. The smiles in their faces was the most beautiful thing that portrayed the spirit of the programme.
