VSEC holds interactive session on exam anxiety
Anxiety interferes with the actual performance of students on exams, but it is important to know how to overcome it.
To help the Standard X students of PCN GHSS, Mookkuthala, Changaramkulam surmount the stress and anxiety caused by exams, Vidya Social Empowerment Center (VSEC) organized a session on “Exam Anxiety” on 28 March 2022 through Google meet at 7.00 pm. The resource person for the day was Yogita R Nair (S7 B Tech CSE and VSEC Student Volunteer). The programme was supported by Mr Pradeep K S (Convener of Standard X, PCN GHSS), Ms Keerthana and Ms Sandhya Anilkumar (Student Counsellors, PCN GHSS).
The program began with a silent prayer, followed by the welcome address by Ms Sivakamy (S3 B Tech ME and VSEC Volunteer). In the session, Yogita, talked about the types of stress and how to deal with them by giving real life examples. She emphasised the various stress relaxation therapies which could be easily practiced by students. Yogita shared tips for the last minute preparation of exams based on her personal learning experience.
The students actively participated by interacting and responding to the topics addressed. The teachers of the school Mr Pradeep K S and Ms Keerthana also shared their valuable inputs.
The session was led by Ms Lakshmi N S and Ms Salkala K S, faculty members of Vidya, under the guidance of Dr Siju K C ( Head of VSEC).
