Webinar on Research Methodology

A webinar on research methodology was conducted online on 08/06//2022 between 10.30 AM and 12.30 PM. Dr Shoba A P, Associate Professor of Department of Applied Science and Humanities, VAST was the Resource person for the session. She highlighted the importance of impactful research and stressed on the strategies involved during the research process.

 Through her session participants were guided through, the initial steps of research, on literature review, on identifying the gaps in research, on how to maintain the record of data reviewed, how to bifurcate qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, the importance of analysis and interpretation of data, on how to write an article for beginners, on how to acknowledge the findings of other researchers, on how to identify top journals to submit the article and the steps involved during review process.All 30 participants actively participated and gave their valuable feedback.
