Vidya NSS volunteer in Republic Day Parade at ‘Kartavya Path’ after a month-long vigorous training

“It was a dream come true experience for me all my fellow volunteers while  marching on the Kartavya Path.” Vidya NSS Volunteer Secretary, P Tarun Kumar stated this note after his participation in Republic Day Parade at New Delhi on 26 January 2023 that a matter of great pride for any Indian citizen.

P Tarun Kumar (NSS Volunteer Secretary, S6, EEE Dept) attended the NSS Republic Day Camp  from 1 Jan 2023 to 31 Jan 2023 at New Delhi with a great sense of excitement, zeal, and enthusiasm. Ten   NSS volunteers from Kerala were selected and they all have undergone the training in Delhi. The volunteers were imparted training in leadership development apart from organising various socio-cultural programmes. All the  volunteers, after a month long stay together in the camp, got the prestigious opportunity to be part  of the  Republic Day Parade on 26 January 2023

The Volunteers also got a chance to interact many eminent personalities of different fields that include Ms Droupadi Murmu (Hon’ble President), Mr Narendra Modi (Prime Minister), Mr Anurag Thakur (Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports) and Mr V Muraleedharan (Union Minister of State for External Affairs & Parliamentary Affairs of India). After the parade, a trip was also organized to Agra that served as a platform  for harmonious bonding  among the student volunteers.
