‘ROOTS’ scholarship : Last date extends till 05 August 2023

‘ROOTS’, a comprehensive scholarship scheme established by the alumni of  Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department which was formed with the aim of nurturing talented and deserving students by helping them financially, academically and professionally for a better future, has already gained a lot of attention in the previous year. In the last year a total of 12 students were admitted to the electrical engineering department at Vidya through a selection process that includes applications and interviews

Students who are currently enrolled and those who wish to enroll in the in the Electrical program with a current Plus Two pass, can apply on or before 05 August 2023

This scholarship scheme, which is limited to two lakh rupees per student, includes course tuition fees for 4 years. Also, mentorship, professional language skill, development activities and project support for the students are included in the Roots scholarship scheme.Under the leadership of Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Dean-Academics) this scholarship scheme is being successfully conducted in Vidya with the cooperation of staff members of Electrical Dept, alumni and other college authorities including management. Mr. Krishnakumar M (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) will serve as the convener of the program with the earnest support of alumni Mr Ajin Aravind (2004-2008 Batch), Mr Sangeeth V G (2004-2008 Batch), Mr Rahul Viswam (2004-2008 Batch), Mr Ramdas Unnikrishnan (2004-2008 Batch), Mr Yoonus M (2004-2008 Batch).
