ISV Vocational Awareness Session
Vidya offers essential supports to the deserving children by holding a wide range of enhancement activities under the auspices of IEEE Smart Village (ISV) which are adapted to meet needy communities. It helps the students to get abundant information of various newly rising and technical prospects. Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Dean Academics & Professor, EEE Dept) is co-ordinating the activities in the college.
As part of the ISV initiative, a vocational awareness program series was scheduled at SoS Village Mulayam, Thrissur, Kerala, India. The session of the series was conducted at SoS Village Mulayam on 05 August 2023. Four student mentors Akhila M (S7, ECE Dept), Varundev A V (S5, ECE Dept),Jeeva H M (S7, ECE Dept) and Suraj Shaju Meledath (S5, EEE Dept) handled the hands-on session using SNAP CIRCUIT kits.
Ms Anooja V S (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) and Ms Neenu Thomas (Asst Prof, EEE Dept) accompanied the student mentors and provided necessary supports.The children shown keen interest in solving the snap circuit. Around 15 to 20 circuits were completed per group. Students and mentors gave positive feedbacks about the session.
