The function started with a welcome address by Ms Neenu Thomas (Staff Club Secretary and Asst Prof, EEE Dept).The special addresses made by Dr Saji C B (Principal) Mr Suresh Lal (Executive Director), Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Dean-Academics), Dr Sunitha C (Vice Principal, HoD, AIML Dept) offered their words of love and greetings to mark unity and equality among the staff community. Mr Boby Peter (Asst Manager – General Administration) also addressed on the occasion.Mr Sankar R (Asst Prof ME Dept) proposed vote of thanks.
| The spectators elated with exhilaration when the Staff Members from the Departments of CE, CSE EEE and ECE presented a dance bringing together old melody and a cosmic folk tune. Consequently, melodious songs that sung by Gloria (Asst Prof, CE Dept), Dr Vineetha C P (Asst Prof, AS Dept), Mr Manu (Asst Prof, AS Dept), Mr Santumon S D (Asst Prof, ECE Dept), Shegna (Asst Prof, ECE Dept), Dr S Swapna Kumar (HoD, ECE Dept), Mr Subish C S (Technical Support Associate, CSE Dept), Aswathy (Asst Prof, AS Dept) and Sruthy (Research Scholar, AS Dept) charmed the audience with old melodies. The melodious songs presented by AS and CE Depts could hang viewers sense. Some of the staff members were appeared dancing away to beauty to some of the folk, classical and semi-classical tunes include‘Thriruvathirakali’,Onam songs,solo performances etc.Song and dance performances occupied the superior part, the celebration mood was boosted by a heart touching Malayalam poem written and recited by Mr K Vijayanarayanan (Library Attendant). In line with the celebrations, ‘Onasadhya’ was also served. |
