Vidya welcomes all first year B Tech (2023 – 27 Batch) Students: AICTE-VIDYA Induction Training Programme started with great vigor

Vidya always ensure to inculcate a culture of “A Home away from Home”. The opening year in B.Tech education is an essential time for all the newly admitted B Tech students (2023 – 27 Batch). It enriches sole phase in their learning, Vidya endows with quality education all the way through well experienced faculty and staff members, infrastructural facilities, library and well equipped laboratories and computer centers.

Induction Training Programme 2023 Inaugural was held on 07 September 2023 at 10.00am in the College Auditorium.The event began with a reverential prayer by Gloria Anto (Asst Prof, CE Dept) that gave he tone for a solemn and auspicious crowd. The welcome address was delivered by Dr Sunitha. C (Vice Principal & HoD AIML Dept) Dr Saji C.B (Principal) presided over the function. Mr Suresh Lal (Executive Director, VICT) inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp and made Inaugural Address. Mr. Anto Michael, (Deputy Secretary, Govt. of Kerala, Director, Self-Improvement Hub), Dr Sudha Balagopalan (Dean-Academics) and Adv. P.NUnnirajan (Retd IPS) Director-Administration, VICT and Mr Manoj Chalakkal (PTA president) offered felicitations. Mr Paul Chakola (Head, Placement and Training) proposed vote of thanks.

An Expert talk by Mr Anto Michael, (Deputy Secretary, Govt. of Kerala, Director, SelfImprovement Hub) was given to the parents of newly admitted students. Department Orientation programme for Students at department venues, Department meeting with Parents, Common Interaction, Mentee/Mentor Interaction and lab visit at respective departments were also arranged for the students. An interactive session by Mr C K Suresh(Expert Student Counsellor) was also held for students co-rdinated by VSSC (Vidya Student Support Cell) .
