NSS Volunteers perform cleaning drive in Cheppara
The NSS volunteers of Vidya hold the necessity of selfless service by conducting social outreach programs.
The latest in to this array is a cleaning drive in an emerging tourist spot of the city, the Cheppara Rock Garden at Thekumkara Panchayat, Vadakanchery on 16 September 2023 in collaboration with Trekker Warrior, an all India based NGO.
Around 45 volunteers participated in this drive.Major aim of this activity was to protect the nature.They collected different types of plastic wastes and sorted the waste and gave it for disposal.Trash bags and gloves were provided.NSS Programme Officers, Mr Rajesh S K (Asso Prof, EEE Dept) and Mr Ranjith E R (Asst Prof, ME Dept) co-ordinated the event.
