ECE Dept conducts workshop for Diploma Students
To make the participants understand about LaTeX system, a full day workshop on “Scientific writing using LaTeX” was conducted for the Diploma students of Govt. Women’s Polytechnic, Nedupuzha on 07 October 2023 which was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication under ELSA scheme. The session started at 9.30 am with a warm welcome by Ms. Simi Simon (Lecturer from ECE Dept, GWPTC).
The Workshop was handled by Dr Swapna Kumar S (Professor, HoD, ECE Dept) with the help of Ms Sagna L T (Asst Prof , ECE Dept). It was a one to one interactive session.
A total of 73 students attended the workshop from various departments(ECE,CSE and CE) who are new to the LaTeX environment. The session progressed by learning to write seminar and project reports in IEEE format.
