CE students’ paper to appear in Proceedings of International Conference
Many special achievements of the students in the CE Department are truly commendable.Such accomplishments indeed bring a sense of pride and recognition to the department. It also reinforces the students’ confidence in their abilities and motivates them to continue striving for excellence.
A technical paper titled “Effect of Bamboo Biochar as a stabilizer and amendment agent in contaminated soil” and authored by S8 civil students (Irene K B, Kavya V P, Lohith Manakkalath S and Saya Surendran) has been accepted for publication in the Proceedings of the International Conference on Novelties in Geotechnical Engineering(ICNGE) 2024 organised by the Department of Civil Engineering, SCMS School of Engineering and Technology, Karukutty in association with the Indian Geotechnical Society, Kochi Chapter.
The authors had earlier presented the paper in the Conference in ICNGE 2024 on 26 April 2024, and received participation certificates. The paper was the outcome of their final year project with the guidance of Ms Seetha Pisharikkel (Asst Prof, CE Dept).
