Paper presentation at the National Conference on Innovations in Civil Engineering by the Dept of CE

Faculty members and students at Vidya continue to remain at the forefront of research and innovation in their respective fields

With immense pleasure, the Dept of CE is sharing the news that a research paper titled “Investigation on Structural Behaviour of Metallic Foam Sandwich Panel as Steel Plate Shear Wall” was successfully presented at the National Conference on Innovations in Civil Engineering, held at Christ College of Engineering, Irinjalakuda on 21 March 2025.

This innovative study was carried out by Sarath M B (S2, M.Tech in Structural Engineering, CE Dept) as part of his M.Tech project, under the guidance of Mr. A R Kiran Babu (Asst Prof, CE Dept)

The paper was well-received at the conference and is currently under consideration for publication in the conference proceedings with an ISBN (awaiting confirmation).
