Vidya students stand out to the second phase of PALS MinTathon 2025 with innovative achievements

Vidya students actively foster creativity, interdisciplinary teamwork, and practical problem-solving skills by participating in various competitions.
PALS (Pan IIT Alumni Leadership Series) is a distinguished initiative by IIT alumni, driven by volunteers, with the mission of inspiring and advancing engineering. IIT Madras hosted  a national-level hackathon under the PALS MinTathon Program, focusing on AI-driven solutions for Safe & Sustainable Mobility. The competition aims to encourage innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration and real-world problem-solving among students and young innovators across the country.
The Editorial Team of News & Events is excited to share that two student teams from Vidya Academy of Science and Technology have been shortlisted for the next round of the PALS MinTathon Program.

The next phase of the competition will be held at IIT Chennai, where promising projects will be shortlisted for funding and prototype development. Selected teams will receive mentorship and incubation support through the MinT–IIT ecosystem, along with seed funding of up to ?2 lakhs for project implementation.
