EEE faculty member completes AICTE–ATAL FDP on Green Energy and AI for Smart City Ecosystems

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology proudly announces that Mr. Arun Xavier (Asst. Prof – Sr. Grade) has successfully completed an AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy Faculty Development Programme, marking a significant stride in academic enrichment and emerging technology learning.
Certificate issued by AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy, Mr. Arun Xavier participated in the FDP titled “Integration of Green Energy and AI in Utility and Transportation Systems for Shaping Sustainable Smart City Ecosystems”. The programme was hosted by R.V.R. & J.C. College of Engineering and conducted from 24 – 29 November 2025.
The FDP emphasized modern engineering solutions blending renewable energy systems, artificial intelligence, and smart transportation technologies, supporting India’s vision for sustainable and intelligent urban infrastructure. The training covered advanced topics essential for next-generation smart city planning and utility management.
