Civil Engineering faculty members complete ATAL Academy FDP on ‘Circular Economy in Civil Infrastructure’
Vidya faculty members enhance knowledge and expertise in sustainable development concepts, circular economy frameworks, and resource-efficient infrastructure practices by attending courses
The Department of Civil Engineering is pleased to report that eight faculty members successfully participated in and completed AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Circular Economy in Civil Infrastructure – A Pathway to Sustainable Development” organized by NSS College of Engineering.

The FDP was conducted from 24-29 November 2025 and offered comprehensive insights into emerging concepts of sustainable development in civil engineering. The program covered key areas such as sustainable construction methodologies, circular economy principles, waste minimization strategies and modern practices for developing resource-efficient and environmentally responsible infrastructure.
