Quality standards inspection at Vidya under ISO 9001:2015 Surveillance Audit

Vidya continues to comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard.

With the aim of assessing the effective implementation and maintenance of documented processes and   ensuring consistency in quality practices,  a Surveillance Audit was carried out by an external auditor as part of the periodic review process on 17–18 February 2026.

A team of auditors from Bureau Veritas conducted a comprehensive audit of all academic and non-academic departments of the College to assess compliance with the clauses of ISO 9001:2015 standards. The audit provided valuable recommendations to further enhance our Quality Management System, which will be incorporated into future initiatives. The auditors also appreciated the effective practices and robust processes implemented by both academic and non-academic departments of Vidya.

The successful completion of the Surveillance Audit reinforces Vidya’s commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, fostering continuous improvement, and delivering excellence across all academic and administrative services.

The ISO standards-related activities are efficiently coordinated by a dynamic team comprising Dr Abhilasha P S (Management Representative and HoD, CE Dept) and Mr Biju P. V. (Asst. Management Representative, Asso Prof, ME Dept) with valuable guidance from Dr. Sunitha C. (Principal), Dr. Shalij P. R. (Director – Academics) and Mr. Suresh Lal (Executive Director, VICT) ensuring effective implementation and continual enhancement of quality management processes across the institution.The enthusiastic team at Vidya enabled efficient operations and sustained improvement across all departments.
