AI Club Inauguration

The Department of AIML provides various platforms for students to enhance their technical, analytical, and creative skills through workshops, competitions, and collaborative learning activities. With this mission, the AI Club of the AIML Department was formally inaugurated on 12 March 2026.

The event marked the beginning of a new student initiative aimed at promoting awareness, innovation, and practical knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The program commenced with a silent prayer, setting a positive and respectful tone for the event. This was followed by the welcome address delivered by Dr. Jeeva K A (Prof. & Head, AIML Dept) who warmly greeted the dignitaries, faculty members, and students, and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in today’s technology-driven world. An overview of the AI Club activities was then presented by Ms. Bianka Thomas (Asst Prof, AIML Dept) outlining the club’s vision, planned workshops, competitions, and collaborative learning opportunities designed to enhance students’ technical and creative skills.

The presidential address  was delivered by  Dr. Sunitha C (Principal) who emphasized the significance of Artificial Intelligence in shaping future careers and encouraged students to actively participate in the club’s activities.The highlight of the event was the inaugural address by the Chief Guest, Dr. Sreekanth D (Head of Knowledge Office, ICT Academy Kerala). He shared valuable insights into the evolving AI landscape, industry expectations, and the importance of continuous learning and innovation.

This was followed by a felicitation ceremony, where the distinguished guests were honored. The event also included the prize distribution for the ‘Break the Bot’ competition, recognizing the efforts and achievements of the participating students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Vivek Chandran (Student Co-ordinator, S6 AIML Dept) who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, organizers, and participants for making the event a grand success
