CE faculty member and student publish paper in the International Journal of Creative Research Thoughts (IJCRT)
The Department of Civil Engineering actively encourages students to engage in research and academic publication.
With great honor, the Department proudly announces the academic achievement of Girinath T.V.(S8, CE Dept) whose paper titled “Conceptual Design of Chenab” has been published in the International Journal of Creative Research Thoughts (IJCRT), Volume 13, Issue 12, December 2025. This publication is a result of his final-year seminar work, carried out under the expert guidance of Ms. Roshni Vijay (Asst. Prof, CE Dept)
This accomplishment underscores the importance of research and publication in enhancing students’ academic exposure to scholarly practices, while also contributing to the faculty’s mission of fostering a strong culture of research and academic excellence within the institution.
The aim of this work is to develop a conceptual design of the Chenab structure through analytical and engineering principles, as part of the final-year seminar. It also seeks to enhance the student’s understanding of structural design methodologies while encouraging engagement in research and academic publication.
