Vidya signs MoUs for add-on experiences!

In keeping with this commitment, recently Vidya signed several MoUs with leading training institutes to arrange add-on courses to students in the S4 B Tech batches. Read on to know the details of these MoUs.
Core Institute of Technology
Vidya signed an MoU with Core Institute of Technology, an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre in Kerala which provides job oriented technical and software courses like MEP, HVAC, NDT, for conducting an add-on course on “FUSION 360” under the auspices of the Centre for Continuing Education (CEC) in Vidya. The signing ceremony was held in the Principal’s cabin on 27 January 2020. The course to be conducted by Core Institute of Technology includes 30 hours of software classes and is targeted at the students of the S4 B Tech (ME) and S4 B Tech (PE) classes.
Liwet Labs
Vidya signed two separate MoUs with Liwet Labs, the training division of Liwet Technologies, on 30 January 2020 for conducting add-on courses in the following areas:
- “PCB Design” for students of S4 B Tech (ECE) batches
- “Advanced Arduino Development” for students of S4 B Tech (EEE) batches
Both courses include about 30 hours of theory, software and hardware classes. Liwet Labs is a computer training institute based in Kozhikode. These courses are also conducted under the overall supervision of Centre for Continuing Education.
Core Institute of Technology again
Vidya signed a second MoU with Core Institute of Technology on 03 February 2020 in Principal’s office to conduct an add-on course in “Revit Architecture” for students of S4 B Tech (CE) batches. The course is conducted under the auspices of the the Centre for Continuing Education in Vidya. The course includes 30 hours of theory and software classes.
Autodesk Revit is a building information modelling software for architects, landscape architects, structural engineers, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers, designers and contractors. The original software was developed by Charles River Software, founded in 1997, renamed Revit Technology Corporation in 2000, and acquired by Autodesk in 2002. The software allows users to design a building and structure and its components in 3D, annotate the model with 2D drafting elements, and access building information from the building model’s database. Revit is 4D building information modeling capable with tools to plan and track various stages in the building’s lifecycle, from concept to construction and later maintenance and/or demolition.(Wikipedia)
