Industrial Visit brings out critical thinking to S5 ECE students

Industrial visits bridge the gap between academic training and practical learning in a real-life environment.

An Industrial Visit was held to S5 ECE B batch students at ‘Radio Mattoli’ (FM station at Wayanad district, Kerala) on 17 December 2022.

The students attended an introduction section given by the officials. They were able to obtain practical knowledge about the working of an FM station, signal processing etc. The practical sessions, include the introduction of studios and detailed explanation on the program production and telecasting, served as a practical experience firsthand how these concepts are put into action. Conversion of signals happening there was explained thoroughly. As electronics students it was very beneficial  to obtain some new knowledge regarding signal processing and all happening there since it is part of their academics.

The students were accompanied by the faculty members Mr Sojan Francis (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) and Ms Jisy Jose (Asst Prof, ECE Dept) for their educational tour thereafter which concluded on 22 December 2022.

The visit helped the students to test their theoretical knowledge and to bridge the gap between theoretical and field knowledge.
