Ma Salama’23 : ME students bid farewell to their seniors

A Farewell  is the finest way to express gratitude and love seniors for the occasion spent together .In broad, every stage of the academic life, the seniors depart their places for juniors. To express the feelings of  the gratitude and affection,  a farewell party christened Ma Salama’23 (meaning farewell) for the BTech ME 2019-23  batch was held as a grand function on 17 June 2023. The event was organized by the students from S6 ME.

The program commenced with a farewell lunch for the outgoing batch along with their tutors and professors followed by prayer by Arjun Rageev (S6, ME Dept). Presidential address was  delivered by Dr Rakesh Hari (HoD, ME Dept). This was followed by speeches made by Dr Vipin Antony  (Asst Prof, ME Dept), Dr Bhavin K Bharat (Asst Prof, ME Dept) and Mr Shankar R (Asst Prof,  ME Dept) as they narrated their experiences of teaching the outgoing batch over the course of four years. The valedictorian speech was made by Mayookh UM (S8, ME Dept).

A video made by the S6 students was displayed as remembrance of the vibrant four years that the seniors spent in our college to take them down the memory lane. The juniors organized fun games and cultural events as well. The day ended with a vote of thanks by Sivakamy V S (S6,ME Dept) as the seniors officially bid farewell.
