MCA former faculty member awarded patent

Dr Jisha Jose Panackal (former faculty member of MCA department, VAST) was recently awarded a patent to a model, she developed as part of her PhD work while she was a faculty in MCA department. She had submitted her invention “Adaptive utility-based anonymization: An Intelligent approach for Privacy preserving data mining” in 2014 when she was working as Associate Professor in MCA Department at Vidya.Dr Jisha completed PhD at Hindustan University, Chennai under the guidance of Dr Anitha S Pillai.

Dr. Krishnachandran then HOD and Vice Principal provided her all support in her project. Dr. Jisha was with MCA Department of Vidya from 2007 till December 2017. Presently she is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science, Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy.
