Vidya honors Plus Two Computer Science Toppers in Thrissur District

Vidya takes immense effort in shaping the minds of blooming buds motivate perseverance, and nurturing transformative ride of growth that surpasses the boundaries of academia.

An event ‘Celebrating Centum Success in Computer Science &  Computer Applications’ to honor plus two students who excelled in computer science was organized by the Association of Computer Teachers under the auspices of VIBE (Vidya Initiative for Better Engineering).The ceremony took place at Vivekodayam Boys Higher Secondary School, Thrissur on 25 May 2024 attending around 400 students from various schools across the district.

The event aimed to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of students in Computer Science, encouraging them to pursue further studies and careers in the field of technology. The students who scored exemplary well in Computer Science presented with mementos acknowledging their hard work and dedication.

Mr Paul Chakola (Head, Training and Placement Cell,Vidya Academy of Science and Technology) was the keynote speaker for the event. He delivered an inspiring talk on career opportunities in engineering, highlighting the various opportunities that students can take in the ever-evolving technical industry. Mr Paul Chakola emphasized the importance of staying updated with technological advancements and the vast potential for growth in engineering careers and stressed on good career planning, ethics, and values His speech provided valuable insights to both students and parents, helping them understand the diverse prospects in the engineering domain.

The event turned out to be a grand success and served as a perfect platform to share the invaluable tips and tricks for aspiring  engineers to gain a better understanding of the future possibilities in the field of computer science and engineering.

Mr Pran K (HSST, Computer Science, Vivekodayam Boys Higher Secondary School), Mr Shajan Jose (HSST, Computer Science,St.Joseph H.S.S Pavaratty) and all the members in the Association of Computer Teachers attended the program .

Dr Anjali P S (Asso Prof, CE Dept, Vidya Academy of Science and Technology) co-ordinated the carreer guidance session.Ms Nirmala Krishnan (Asst Prof, CE Dept),Ms Roshni Vijay (Asst Prof, CE Dept) and Ms Ardra P Nair (Asst Prof, CE Dept) were also present on the occasion to motivate and support the students.
