Vidya IEDC team wins “Galactic Problem Solver”award category at the NASA Space Apps Challenge Hackathon 2024 

Vidya students explore unique opportunities  to utilize NASA’s free and open data and space-based data from space agency partners  

The NASA International Space Apps Challenge is a Hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, technologists, and innovators around the world to come together and use open data from NASA and its Space Agency Partners to create solutions to challenges we face on Earth and in space.

The team Solar Hex consisting of (Alen M A (S5 ECE Dept),Adwaith E S (S5 ECE Dept),Afla C V (S5 ECE Dept),Aswin C T S (S5 ECE Dept),Aman Joju (S5 ECE Dept), Aleena Varghese (S5 ECE Dept) has been selected as one of the top 10 winners in the prestigious “Galactic Problem Solver” award category at the NASA Space Apps Challenge Hackathon 2024.Mr Anil M (IEDC Nodal Officer and Asst Prof, ECE Dept) extended wholehearted support  to the team.

The team’s exceptional problem-solving skills and innovative approach have truly impressed the judges, and they are delighted to invite to the award distribution ceremony to celebrate the achievement on 24 October  2024.
