CSI hackathon-INNOVATHON-’25
Vidya offers various platforms to challenge skills for both beginners and seasoned coders.
Computer Society of India (CSI)- VAST Chapter hosted an exciting Hackathon event “Innovathon 25” on 30 January 2025. The event was a remarkable opportunity for innovative minds to come together, collaborate, and develop groundbreaking solutions to real-world challenges. A total of 51 students (11 teams) from AIML, CSE, ECE and MCA departments participated in the hackathon. The event started at 9:30 am in the MCA lab and ended at 2:30 pm followed by a presentation.
The following Problem statements were given ;-
- Predictive Road Damage and Accident Risk Model
- Plastic Waste Tracker
- Carbon Footprint Calculator
- Water Scarcity Alert System.
Participants had the opportunity to showcase their talents and grab exciting prizes. Out of the 11 teams, the best performing 3 teams were selected by the judges as winners.

The prizes were distributed by Dr Sunitha C (Principal) on 05 February 2025. Ms Prajitha M.V (Asst Prof, CSE Dept) ) and Mr Dijesh P (Asso Prof, MCA) served as judges. The event was coordinated by Ms Anitha L. (CSI VAST Institutional Co-ordinator, Asst Prof, CSE Dept), Ms. Siji (Asst Prof, , MCA) and Ms. Anju (Asst Prof, AIML Dept) with the help of student co-ordinators Ms.Nida Shirin (S8, CSE Dept) and Nikhil (S8, CSE Dept)
