NSS observes Swachhatha Hi Seva with Beach Cleaning Drive at Chavakkad

As part of the NSS Unit’s ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and community welfare, a Beach Cleaning Drive was conducted at Chavakkad Beach. The initiative aimed to support the Swachh Bharat Mission by promoting cleanliness, raising public awareness, and encouraging responsible civic behavior among volunteers and local visitors.

The cleaning drive successfully accomplished its objectives, including enhancing the cleanliness and visual appeal of Chavakkad Beach through systematic waste removal, raising awareness among volunteers and local visitors about the importance of maintaining clean and hygienic public spaces, and strengthening social responsibility, teamwork, and environmental consciousness among NSS volunteers, thereby reinforcing their commitment to community service.

This initiative formed an integral part of the NSS Unit’s continuous efforts to uphold the values of the Swachh Bharat Mission, reflecting dedication toward sustainable and community-centered practices.

The smooth and efficient execution of the event was made possible through the dedicated leadership of NSS Volunteer Secretaries: Sonu Sunny (S5, ME Dept), Rashmi V R (S5, ECE Dept), Manu K M (S5, EEE Dept), Niranjan Agnivesh K B (S5, ME Dept) and  Anamika Sebastian (S5, ECE Dept)

The event was effectively guided and supervised by Mr. Rajesh S K (NSS Program Officer, Asso Prof, EEE  Dept) and Ms. Delmy David V  (NSS Program Officer,  Asst Prof, CSE Dept).
