ECE Dept conducts FDP on “Next-Generation Communication Framework for Intelligent Systems (NGCF-IS)”

The Six-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Next-Generation Communication Framework for Intelligent Systems (NGCF-IS)” was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, in association with IQAC, IE(I), and ISTE VAST Chapters. The programme was scheduled from 2- 29th November 2025 and aimed to enhance the technical expertise of faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students in emerging domains of communication systems, intelligent technologies, and interdisciplinary engineering solutions.
Conducted in hybrid mode, the FDP brought together distinguished academicians, industry experts, and researchers who delivered comprehensive insights into next-generation technological trends. The sessions covered a wide spectrum of advanced topics, including NOMA IoT networks for 5G and beyond, embedded electronic systems, cyber resilience, nanostructure fabrication, AI-driven operating systems, secure IoT architectures, deep learning applications, robotics, electric vehicle intelligence, and Edge AI for IoT devices.
The programme provided a robust platform for participants to explore cutting-edge research, gain practical exposure, and understand industry-driven technological advancements. By effectively bridging academic learning with real-world innovation, the FDP equipped educators with updated pedagogical and technical competencies, thereby enabling them to mentor and prepare the next generation of engineers more effectively.
