Vidya student participates in International Energy Festival Kerala 2026 (IEFK26)
The event was jointly organized by APJAKTU NSS, Energy Management Centre Kerala (EMC), and CET Innovation Centre, highlighting a collaborative effort to promote innovation, technical excellence, and industry engagement.
The festival was formally inaugurated by Mr K. Krishnankutty (Honourable Minister for Electricity, Government of Kerala). In his inaugural address, he emphasized the growing importance of sustainable energy solutions, technological innovation, and industry-academia collaboration in shaping the future of the power sector.
Technical Sessions and Industry Exposure
Over the three days, participants attended a series of expert-led technical workshops and seminars that offered practical insights into emerging technologies and advancements in the energy sector. These sessions enabled students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world industry applications.
A major highlight of IEFK26 was the Student Project Expo, where innovative academic projects were showcased. The exhibits demonstrated creative solutions addressing real-world energy challenges, reflecting the technical competence and research orientation of the participants.
The festival also featured exhibitions by reputed international and national electrical-based companies, providing students with valuable industry exposure, networking opportunities, and awareness of current professional practices and technological trends.
